Dlouhá Louka used to be an autonomous village but since 1961 it has become a part of the the town of Osek. The church and several typical Krušné hory houses from the 19th century represent the main landmarks of the village. Nowadays, the village is mostly used as a holiday destination. On the western part of the village, at the top of Vlčí Mountain (Wolf's Mountain) a telecommunication pole was erected; its gallery is accessible to the public and is a good observation point. On a clear day, you can see the peaks of Klínovec and Ještěd, and even the northern part of Prague - Kobylisy. There is a winter cross-country skiing complex in the village, offering 55 km of machine maintained tracks both for the classic diagonal style and the skating style. There are several circles with varying degrees of difficulties, all placed in a beautiful countryside. A tourist track, leading to the highest peak of the Krušné Mountains - Loučná at 960 m, starts in the village. Loučná is also the starting point of many cross-country skiing tracks and cycling tracks.
