Brana do Čech

The entire trail is 30 kilometres long. It runs between two state border crossings, and between two viewing towers. It is not a demanding trail at all plus you will be walking on a good road going slightly uphill. The beginning of the trail is at the state border crossing Dolní Poustevna - Sebnitz as well as the beginning of trail No. 3043. You may also join the trail from the local railway station. The trail continues through Vilémov and Mikulášovice, where it crosses trail No. 3041. On your right hand side you will see the beautiful viewing tower Tanečnice (Dancer). You may ride your bike all the way to the viewing tower. However, the tourists signs continue all the way to Brtníky and Vlčí Hora (Wolf's Mountain) and later the trail joins trails No. 3032, 3033 and 3029. You will sweat a little here, but visiting the Vlčí hora viewing tower will reward you with beautiful views. The road passes the viewing tower on its left side and continues to the village of Zahrady. Here, the tourist signs will leave the asphalt road and take you to a slightly poorer road going through various meadows. After a while the road joins trail No. 211 and continues towards another viewing tower in our county, the Dymník Tower. This asphalt road is very pleasant to walk on and goes to the town of Rumburk and ends at the state border crossing Rumburk - Seifhennersdorf. However, before you reach the end do not forget to visit the Loretánská kaple (Loretto Chapel), where you can also find an information centre.
