A simple game for unfussy clients for a fraction of the price. If you are one of those people you do not feel completely comfortable in a "posh" golf club, come to Libouchec; situated ca. ten kilometres from Děčín on the road to Teplice; the local golf course is open to anyone. This golf course a far cry from the advertising photos of golf resorts found at travel agents, when the greens glitter against the background of the blue ocean. The nine-hole public golf course in Libouchec is open to anyone, just like tennis or volleyball courts are still open to anyone in villages. It is a small course on a plain field with very modest facilities. The golf course is accessed in a unique way, via a petrol station. But one can have a very enjoyable game of golf here, in particular when the sun is setting against the backdrop of the Krušné Mountains that are not so far away from here. The holes at the golf course were added gradually (originally the course was a six-hole course), and they are situated in a large meadow, on one side of which there is a manor house. There are practically no trees here; the only obstacles might be places with high reeds and small water areas. Otherwise, the course is fairly simple as it is designed mostly for beginners and not very demanding players. There are two five pars of ca. 450 m long, three three pars of shorter distances (130, 140, 150 m from a yellow tee, and from the red tee it is always 10 m less), and even the four pars are not very long. And the fee? It really is only a couple of hundred crowns, making it one of the cheapest golf courses in Bohemia.
