The observatory in Teplice was opened in 1963 and offers superb views over the countryside and the town. Observation is possible only if the sky is clear. The availability depends on the time of year. The last tour is available half an hour before the end of the opening times. There is an observatory in Koperníkova Street that was opened in 1995. A dome of 10 m in diameter, showing an artificial sky full of stars, is located above the circular auditorium. The impression that the starry sky is real is enhanced by the Zeiss projection planetarium ZKP2. There is disabled access to the hall.
