Rock climbing destinations are mostly to be found south of the village of Jetřichovice in the valleys and cliffs of the Jetřichovice Rocks. This area includes some solitary rocks and a set of rocks in the Pavlína Valley (the valley of Chřibské kamenice south west of Jetřichovice) and above the settlement of Studený. In the south the area neighbours with the region of Tokáň, in the west with the region of Vysoká Lípa and in the south west with the region of Srbská Kamenice.
Most towers are of an average height. The most interesting climbing towers are: Kočičí kostel (Cat's Church), Malé and Velké Žluté cimbuří (Small and Big Yellow Spires), Hraběnka (Duchess), Hladká věž (Smooth Tower) and the cone of Vilemína's Wall, but you will find there are many others. The sandstone is soft so it is prohibited to climb when it is wet and after the rain as the rock is not dry enough. The rugged surface of the sandstone enables you to choose from many routes. The towers are set in a unique setting which makes climbing here even more attractive. You can see not only the standard wood species but also wild boars, moufflons and lizards. The area is a part of the Protected Natural Area. The starting point is Jetřichovice on the ČSAD route Děčín-Jetřichovice- Rynartice (stop Jetřichovice-hostinec) and Česká Kamenice-Vysoká Lípa (stop Jetřichovice-ÚM). Some towers can be accessed from Vysoká Lípa once you pass Česká silnice (ČSAD bus stop Vysoká Lípa-hostinec/pub), from Rynartice (ČSAD bus), from the open air swimming pool (ČSAD bus stop Jetřichovice-koupaliště/swimming pool) and from Studené (ČSAD bus). There is a campsite by the open air swimming pool that can be accessed by car. A phone line is available in Jetřichovice. There is no drinking water in the rocks. If you need first aid, contact the Children's Rehabilitation Centre.
