Jedlová Mountain, at 774 metres above sea level with an observation tower situated already in the Lusatia Mountains, is the tallest peak in the Ústí region on the right side of the Elbe. In 1891 the German Mountain Association for Czech Switzerland (Gebirgsverein für die Böhmische Schweiz) built an observation tower there. The tower gallery is 23 metres above ground and there are 123 steps to the top; above the gallery there is a 6 m tall wooden extension. There is a lodge by the observation tower which is open all year round; the lodge was renovated along with the observation tower at the beginning of the 1990s.
