An observation tower at 788 metres above sea level that has been undergone some interesting development. The first wooden observation tower on the top of the Jeřabina Hill was only a few metres high and it was open in 1884. However, the wind badly affected the building and the tower collapsed at the end of 1890s, after which the first repairs followed. Further damage was caused in 1908 but this time no finance was available for repairs. The tower fell into disrepair during the First World War. Nevertheless, German tourists were not to deterred and after several years a new tower was built at the top of Jeřabina Hill in 1929. After the Second World War the tower fell victim to vandals and only the foundations of the original tower from 1884 survived. In spring 2009 the Klíny sports complex in cooperation with the Statutory Town of Most, United Energy, a.s. and Emeran 1860 s.r.o. companies started to repair the observation tower to reconstruct the 1929 look. The construction was carried out by the Pavel Císař company and it was designed by Petra Holubičková. The Jeřabina observation tower was reopened on 28 June 2009 and it is open to the public.
