Medvědí skála (Bear's Rock) is the second largest mountain in the Most region and the highest peak of the Rudolická Highlands, with its 923.8 metres above sea level. The rock has a rounded top and on the flat crown of the mountain you will find rocks and big rounded boulders. The name of the mountain, Bear's Rock, refers to the sad occasion when the last bear of the Krušné Mountains was shot here in the 18th century.

At the top there is a 7 m high cone shaped rock that is accessible from the northern face via the old stone stairs. At the very top you will find a cairn made of stones bound with malt, and at the top of the cairn there is a granite stone demarcating a triangulation point. The top of the stone is at a height of 923.84 m. The area around the top (150 m) is protected as this is a geodesic point as documented by the information board, which carries a national emblem. Ca. 50 metres north from the top there is a distinctive tower on a rock that is well visible from far away; on its side you will find a half fallen down wooden lodge. The rock with the lodge, the rocks by the triangulation point and the Last Rock, situated ca. 100 m from the top of the mountain, are much appreciated by local climbers.

The top offers wonderful circular views, one of the nicest in the Most region: to the north you can see the Mountain of St Catherine, to the north east there are the Jeřabina, Černý, Loučná and Stropník Peaks, to the east you can see the town of Litvínov, to the south east the Most Basin and the hills of Bořeň, Milešovka, Zlatník, Hněvín and other hills of the Central Bohemian Uplands, to the south you have views across the Žatec Region, to the south west the Doupov Mountains and finally in the west there is the peak of Klínovec.

A forest track will take you to the top of the rocks; you will need to follow the road from Nová Ves to Červená Jáma (and take the first right pass the waterworks). The road goes directly up, then turns right and at the crossroads you will turn left and up. This road will take you up to the ridge north of the top; the top itself can be reached via a path.
