Porcelain and the uniqueness of noble corners - The chateau in Klášterec nad Ohří . If we visit the Klášterec and Ohří Chateau, we will be surprised right from the beginning by the beauty of its English-style park, which contains approximately 220 kinds of trees from around the world. The castle is located on the left bank of the Ohře River, and together with the park it is closely integrated into the old town historic area. Other interesting objects located near the castle, such as the French Baroque garden with a single-storey summer house with terrace and statues created by John Brokof, the Church of the Holy Trinity or Thun's Tomb are certainly worth exploring. In 1953, the Czech porcelain museum was opened in the castle. You may visit the museum during the first guided tour. Visitors of the second circuit will be presented with exhibits dating back to the beginning of the world porcelain production, including porcelain production in Europe and Asia. The third circuit offers a tour of the castle, the observation tower, the Church of the Holy Trinity and Thun's Tomb hiding the remains of the noble family. If we are lucky, the castle peacocks will accompany us. They are not satisfied with just their garden and from time to time they visit the adjacent square as well.

Take a look at the town from high above the ground - the Town Hall. In 1855 a cornerstone for the construction of the new Town Hall was placed at the location of the old and rundown town hall. A few years later the town suffered a major fire and the newly built Town Hall burned down. Only the perimeter walls survived. Fortunately, after the last reconstruction the Town Hall did not suffer any more disasters, and therefore the current and dominating Town Hall located on the square of Dr. E. Beneš has been able to serve its purpose since the second half of the 19th century. The Town Hall Tower offers spectacular views of the beautiful town and the surrounding countryside together with the eye-catching Krušné Mountains. Water, swimming and sunbathing pleasures - Klášterec nad Ohří Aqua Park .If you like water, sunbathing, swimming and other sports associated with water, then the ideal place for this kind of summer fun is the local water park. It is a modern resort with an interesting architectural design offering large swimming pools, several children's pools, water slides, large water slides, wild water slides, whirlpool, diving tower with three bridges and other amenities such as massage baths and water mushrooms. To enjoy various sporting activities the complex offers beach volleyball, table tennis, beach soccer/football, street ball, mini-golf, skittles, petanque and trampolines. Visit to the cracked walls of Egerberk - the Lestkov Castle ruins. In the Doupovské Mountains, south of Klášterec nad Ohří, you will find three high cone-shaped peaks, whose steep slopes suddenly lose their steepness and go freely down to the valley where the peaceful Ohře River flows. Egerberk Castle once stood in the middle and on the lowest peak. Its remains are found there even today but the course and ravages of time converted the once majestic castle into a mysterious and magical ruin. Even today we can find large remains of castle walls, gates, palaces, towers and perhaps the remains of the main building here. Our small tour can start at the Evženie (Eugenia) Bathhouse, where in a beautiful spa park you may recharge your batteries and then get ready for our trip. The route is marked with red signs. The distance to the ruins is about 2.5 km. To go back you may choose the same route or continue to follow the red sign towards Rašovice and then towards the green sign all the way to Klášterec nad Ohří.
