When we leave the castle Oparno we will be heading back to the road junction (about 200 m), where we join the blue sign, which turns right into the valley. In the valley of the old castle you will see a green sign trail. Follow it all the way to Chotiměř. Here near the map board (opposite to a blue house) turn right and walk around the chapel and through the entire village.

Then you continue to follow the road until you reach an intersection. Make a left turn here and go all the way to Dobkovičky. In Dobkovičky you will continue straight ahead until you reach the local pub. Behind it you will find a crossroad sign. Here you will join the blue sign and follow it slightly uphill. When your reach a road and make a left turn. Attention!!! The yellow trail will turn after about 10 m right and up the hill (the field road is very subtle and easy to miss), look for a yellow arrow - it is painted on the back of the crossroad sign pointing to the Dobkovičky mine and it is behind the field road!).

We keep following the yellow trail around the top of the Srna hill (Roe hill) and take a slight uphill climb (100 m long) on the Kubačka hillside (nice views of Elbe river). When you go down from Kubačka pay attention, as the yellow signs takes a sharp left turn at an undistinguished and easy to miss spot!!! You will keep following the yellow sign through the woods until you reach the road, where you will make a right turn. You will reach a railway crossing. Go over the track and make right turn again towards the railway station Radejčín (here you will find a crossroad sign and map board). Continue all the way to Dubice.

In Dubice you turn to the right and continue until you reach a very pleasant restaurant called "U BECKŮ" (open from 12:00 noon.). Here you get a stamp in your logbook. From the restaurant you will continue straight ahead on the road and pass by the crossroad sign in Dubičky. From here only a short distance separates you from the Dubický church (approximately 200 m). From the Dubický church - offering the most beautiful views of the Elbe river, you will return back to the crossroad in Dubičky and make a turn to join the yellow sign which will take you towards the Doerell's viewing post.

After 0.5 km you will reach a crossroad pointing towards the Doerell's viewing post.
