If you are interested in the work of Ore Mountains miners, don't miss a visit to Starý Martin gallery. The mine offers its visitors a display of historic entry tunnelling of long mining works, differences in reinforcing the corridors in the past and at present, tin ore excavation methods at selected stations, documenting the development of mining technologies, typical sections of the longest tin vein, Lukas, with its mineral deposits, a collection of historical objects, display of coats of arms of all the Czech mining towns, and exhibition of minerals and rocks. The so-called "Spring of happiness" and stalactite decorations are tourist attractions. An outdoor museum of historic and modern mining technologies is located in the premises outside. Sightseeing with a specialised guide takes about 45 minutes according to the level of interest of the visitors, and the length is 1,000 m in total (there and back).
