The Teplice Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the oldest orchestras in Europe and the world. The philharmonic orchestra often performs in Prague and other bigger towns in the Czech Republic. Recently, it has begun to regularly perform abroad. It performs not only symphonic music, but also operas and cantata concerts. The North Bohemia Philharmonic has performed in Germany, Italy, Austria, Spain and Switzerland. Thanks to its ability to work closely with conductors, solo artists and choirs, and also due to its responsible and professional approach to its work, the North Bohemia Philharmonic orchestra has become a sought after representative of Czech music and cultural traditions of the town of Teplice.
