The stucco frontage of the gallery building was repaired ca 1730 in the Peak Baroque style. Most probably the renovation work was done by the builder Octavio Broggio. The current look dates back to 1951-1960 and it was designed by architect M. Reichert. The house is used for residential and agricultural purposes and prominent figures of Litoměřice used to live there (in 1902 JUDr. Alois Funke - member of the Imperial Council of Austria, member of provincial parliament and the mayor of Litoměřice).
Nowadays, the building houses the Litoměřice Art Gallery that was founded by the art historian PhDr. Otakar Votoček in 1957; Votoček became the first manager of the gallery. The gallery was officially opeend for the public on 9 May 1958. The gallery looks after many precious works of arts: Romanesque statues, a set of pictures by the Litoměřice master painter from the 16th century, important Baroque art pieces but also art pieces form the 19th and 20th century and a Naive Art exhibition.
