The rocks near Tašov in the Ústí nad Labem region were discovered, as a climbing place, by two Děčín firemen in 2003. Today, the rocks are more or less covered with bore hooks, and they are also ideal for climbers who want to use their own securing equipment.
The Tašov rocks consist of eleven massifs of hard, partly weathered clinkstone. The rocks are maximum 15 metres high; the routes are mostly from five to ten metres high. The walls face mostly north and south, and the valley routes face west. There are 70 marked climbs, and at least one third of them are definitely worth the climb.
