Our trip starts on the road that will lead us to the right and out of Sutom – at the first intersection take a right turn towards Boreč – 1 km – 100 m before the village you will see a road – marked with a green triangle – towards Boreč Hill. In the woods you will soon encounter the educational trail with many information boards with numbers increasing the father you are from the village of Režný újezd and closer to the top. There you will learn everything there is to know about how ventarols work.
To go back take the same road – follow the information boards on the education trail all the way to the beginning – until you reach Režný Újezd and then take the red trail for 1 km (a petite path in the valley) which will take you back to Boreč – this time you will not leave the yellow signs which will take you behind the village, near to a crossroad sign and near the last village fence, where you will begin to climb slightly towards Košťálov Castle. You may not visit the castle (still following the yellow signs for 1.5 km), because when you come to a little meadow – after walking 1 km through the woods – you will reach a forest path crossroad – 300 m along on your right hand side you see Holý vrch (Barren Hill) (458 m) offering panoramic views of the village of Sutom.
It is worth while to climb up and sign the visitor's book. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the valley of Modla, the ruins of Skalka Castle and the surrounding volcano cone-shape peaks (Plešivec, Oltářík, trojvrcholová Solanská hora (three-peak Solanská Mountain), Hradišťany, Lipská Mountain). On your right side you will see a church with a former rectory – now St. Peter and Paul's Guesthouse and a ceramic workshop. It is easy to find the right way – back to the meadow between the woods and the hill locally nicknamed "Holáček" – you will walk around it on meadows towards the village and to the church – to the right
