Duchcov Chateau Garden was originally a very small garden, a piece of heaven, created for the Archbishop of Prague Jan Bedřich of Valdštejn, and it only covered the elevated parts near the chateau. The original fortress was rebuilt into this grandiose two-storey chateau with a square layout and tiled roof. The chateau underwent a Baroque reconstruction in 1706 - 1718.
